The East Bay Buccaneers Youth Football League is a competitive contact sport for children between the ages of 5 to14 years. Our football program does not have a mandatory play time rule, therefore all play time is earned based on talent, effort and participation. Our football players are divided into the following age/weight divisions as set by the Gulf Coast Youth Football Conference. Age is determined as of July 31, 2010.

Players cannot exceed the above maximum weight at "official weigh-in" prior to the second exhibition game of the season and can gain one (1) pound per game for a maximum weight gain during the season of 10 pounds. Players over the maximum weight are moved up to the next weight division.
Gulf Coast Youth Football Conference Leagues are divided into two divisions: the "American Division" and the "National Division", each consisting of three teams, and play two (2) preseason exhibition games and ten (10) regular season games. Two (2) playoff games follow, culminating the Conference Super Bowl game. The final game of the year is the "All Star Game" in which National Division All Stars compete against the American Division All Stars.
