JANUARY 16 - RETURNERS AND SIBLINGS ONLY

FEBRAURY 13 - OPEN REGISTRATION

MARCH 13 - OPEN REGISTRAION

APRIL 10 - OPEN REGISTRATION 

MAY 8 - OPEN REGISTRATION & CHEER SIZING

JUNE 12- OPEN REGISTRATION & CHEER SIZING

 

All registrations are held at Vance Vogel Park (our practice facility) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  

 You will need the following:

  • there must be a parent and/or legal guardian at registration with a valid photo id 
  • copy of your childs birth certificate

PLEASE NOTE:  After May 1, 2010 every child must have a physical and the doctors form must show the physical date (must be after May 1st of this year),  the doctors signature and address.  

 Cheerleaders must attend either the May or June registration for sizing.  If you don't attend one of those sizing dates you will not get sized until July which means you won't get your equipment on time.

  Football is $185.00 and includes the following:

  • game day jersey with name on the back (you keep)
  • socks
  • mouthpiece
  • use of shoulder pads and helmet
  • use of game day pants
  • snacks after each game

Cheerleading is $235.00 and includes the following:

  • practice shorts and shirt
  • socks
  • bloomers
  • bag (to carry game day items in)
  • water bottle
  • tennis shoes (for games and competitions)
  • use of game day uniform
  • hair bow
  • snacks after each game

 

IF YOUR REGISTRATION IS PAID IN FULL BY JUNE 12TH, YOU WILL GET A $10.00 DISCOUNT OFF EACH CHILD'S REGISTRATION FEE.  WE ALSO HAVE A $10.00 SIBLING DISCOUNT THAT WILL APPLY TO EACH SIBLING THAT IS SIGNED UP. 

** PRACTICE STARTS JULY 6, 2010 AND GOES THRU MID DECEMBER

** PRACTICES ARE MONDAY THRU FRIDAY UNTIL THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL, THEN PRACTICES ARE MONDAY, TUESDAY AND THURSDAY

** PRACTICE TIME IS 6:15 PM - 8:15 PM  (ALL SEASON)

** GAMES ARE EVERY SATURDAY STARTING IN AUGUST.  NO GAMES ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND AND THANKSGIVING WEEKEND.  GAME TIMES WILL DEPEND ON THE DIVISION YOUR CHILD IS IN.  GAMES START AT 9:00 AM AND GO UNTIL 6PM.  WE START WITH FLYWEIGHTS AND END WITH VARSITY.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Important Notice About Ages and Weights

Please pay close attention to the ages & weights listed below.  The ages and weights have been set by the Gulf Coast Youth Football Conference.

Please be realistic when stating your football playing child's weight.  Under-estimating or over-estimating weight brings registration problems.  Any football player who is  more than 10 pounds heavier than the listed starting weight of a division will be automatically moved up to the higher weight division at the first day of practice.

 Ages and Weights

Football and Cheerleading teams are divided into five (5) age divisions.  Football team weights are strictly enforced at registration.  Weights for the 2010 season are now final.  Age is determined as of July 31, 2010.  The divisions are as follows:

   ** The weight listed in the above column represents the MAXIMUM weight that a player may be at official weigh-in in July.   Football players are permitted to gain  a maximum of one (1) pound per game, to a maximum of 10 pounds, beginning with the first regularly scheduled game.  All players weigh-in prior to every football game.  Any player not making weight for that week is not permitted to play in the game.
